Under Pressure

A large cortisol molecule is sewn from material cut from six US flags. The holes in the flags resemble eyes and are arranged in pairs across the surface of the flags. The molecule is suspended from the ceiling and is surrounded by the flags. Cortisol is a hormone that regulates the body’s reaction to stress. High levels of cortisol result in belly fat and high blood pressure.
