Plow Flag
Plow Flag,
A hand plow is made from pieces cut from the union (star field) of a U.S. flag. The plow is placed on the stripes of the flag transforming them into the furrows of a plowed field. Based on the iconography of the flag, the present, represented by the union section from where the plow parts where cut plows the past encoded into the 13 stripes.
Also, the plow is acknowledged as symbolic of culture and a tool for its formation.
