Knowing and Seeing consists of a constructed bedroom onto which videos of cordyceps-infected ants are projected. The video information filters into the room through holes cut in the walls and ceiling. Within the construction is a bedroom, appointed with queen sized bed, furniture, and evidence of habitation-clothes, chips, coffee mug. On the bed, a laptop plays videos from right-wing Youtube channels, resting as if the inhabitant has just left the room. Cordyceps spores are inhaled by the ant allowing the spores to grow, eventually taking over the ant and directing its actions to benefit the fungus and not the ant. People often intake information that leads them to take actions that do not support their own wellbeing.
