The Whole World
The Whole World
Shapes are cut from the gallery wall arranged like the view through a microscope and used to construct a microscope. On the other side of the wall, 300+ circles are cut and then used to construct a telescope that aims back at the wall to study the newly constructed star field made by the holes. A view through the wall can be found through small areas of intersection. This is a meditation on quantum theory and relativity (the very small and the very large) and the attempt to unify the understanding of their natures. Maybe the answer is found in the space between, inside the wall.
